Ivania Gutierrez
I am passionate about life and community. I am a mother, a public administrator, a wife and I declare myself a public servant. In my public administration profession I have worked for the Swedish, Chilean government and here in the United States where I have lived for more than 10 years. Here I currently work as a consultant for non-profit organizations, helping them to achieve greater equity and I organize community events for different social causes. I firmly believe in community networks to build a healthier society and where we all have access to information on available services. I love listening and learning from the life stories of the people in the communities to be able to empathize and have a broad vision of what is happening around us. My experience with different cultures and my professional career have led me to use these skills to help communities enhance their voice, needs, visions, and strengths. I want to continue on this path of working for the community through Connecting Community with commitment, passion, respect and dedication.
