Why?
We believe that every person deserves to have access to resources that provide opportunities for a good quality of life. We know that people have needs, especially in rural areas, that are not being met because of a lack of information about resources. We want to connect the available resources with people that might need them by creating connections within the community.
Because social problems are multifaceted and complex, solutions also need to be multidimensional and integrated . Collaboration with agencies that aim to approach different sectors, services and areas is the best way to address these problems.
The power of building community creates more opportunities for communities and increases the access to information about existing resources and services
Research has shown that focusing on changing the system in place that produces systemic inequities is more effective than focusing on the individual who is facing those inequities. We believe that if we work with this in mind, it will generate a bigger impact and a more efficient and effective use of resources.
